Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 12, 2026

Welcome to Jamie Ann Johnson — Bridal Alterations & Fine Garment Studio, operated by Jamie Ann Johnson Holdings LLC in Roland, Arkansas.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.jamieannjohnson.com and provide general information regarding the services offered by the studio. By using this website, you agree to the website provisions outlined below. Individual services may be subject to additional terms presented during consultation, booking, or project approval.

1. Services

Jamie Ann Johnson offers professional alterations, fittings, and custom garment construction for bridal gowns, formalwear, dance costumes, and performance attire.

Services are provided by appointment and are subject to availability, project requirements, and the studio's ability to accommodate the requested work.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee appointment availability or acceptance of a project.

2. Consultations & Appointments

An initial consultation or fitting may be required to evaluate a garment, discuss the requested services, and determine the appropriate course of work.

Consultation fees, appointment requirements, and applicable cancellation or rescheduling policies will be communicated before booking confirmation.

Clients are encouraged to provide accurate event dates and relevant project information when requesting services.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Alteration and custom-work pricing varies according to garment construction, fabric, complexity, materials, and the extent of the services requested.

Estimates are provided following an evaluation of the garment or proposed project. Any additional work requested or required beyond the original scope may result in additional charges, which will be discussed before proceeding.

Prices and service information published on this website are subject to change. A project-specific written estimate or agreement will identify the applicable charges.

4. Deposits & Payments

Certain services may require a deposit before work begins or materials are purchased.

Deposit amounts, payment schedules, remaining balances, and applicable refund or cancellation conditions will be provided in writing before a project is accepted.

Work may be scheduled or commenced following approval of the project terms and receipt of any required payment.

5. Garment Condition & Alterations

Every effort is made to handle garments with appropriate care and professional attention.

Some garments may contain pre-existing construction issues, weakened fabrics, previous alterations, or other conditions that affect the feasibility or outcome of requested work.

When such conditions are identified, the studio will discuss relevant limitations or concerns with the client. Certain alterations may be declined when the requested result cannot reasonably or safely be achieved.

6. Fittings & Fit Adjustments

Accurate fittings are an important part of the alteration and custom construction process.

Clients should bring the shoes, undergarments, and accessories they intend to wear with the garment whenever those items may affect the fit.

Changes in measurements, footwear, undergarments, or design preferences after an initial fitting may require additional adjustments, appointments, or charges.

The number of fittings required depends on the garment and the complexity of the work.

7. Custom Garment Construction

Custom design and construction projects are evaluated individually.

Before work begins, project details may include the proposed design, materials, estimated cost, fitting schedule, and anticipated completion timeline.

Changes requested after design approval or commencement of construction may affect pricing and delivery schedules. Material purchases, completed work, and applicable cancellation terms will be addressed in the individual project agreement.

8. Dance Studio & Group Services

Group alterations, costume modifications, and scheduled fitting services may be available for dance studios and performance organizations.

Group fitting arrangements, including on-site fittings in Central and South Arkansas, are subject to scheduling, location, number of participants, and project requirements.

Specific fees, responsibilities, deadlines, and payment arrangements will be established with the studio or organization before services begin.

9. Timelines & Completion

Estimated completion dates are established according to the scope of work, fitting requirements, materials, and scheduling availability.

Clients are responsible for communicating accurate event dates and attending necessary fittings in a timely manner.

The studio will communicate material changes to anticipated completion schedules as they become known. Requests for additional work or changes to the original project may affect completion dates.

10. Final Fittings & Garment Collection

Clients may be asked to attend a final fitting to review completed alterations or custom construction before collecting their garments.

Any outstanding concerns should be raised during the final fitting or before garment collection whenever reasonably possible.

Final payment and collection arrangements will be communicated as part of the individual project terms.

11. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund conditions depend on the type of service and the stage of the project.

Applicable policies will be disclosed before payment or project approval. Any refunds or cancellation charges will be handled according to the agreed project terms and applicable law.
